Okay so I’ve only watched the show and I don’t really have prior knowledge of the comics but I’ve been watching a few yt discussions about Invincible and the new episodes and they all seem to kinda shit on Cecil?

Their main complaints is him preparing beasts, testing Marks blood and apparently trying to control him and see how controllable he is in season 2 by easing him into battle.

I feel like this is all completely fair and that you definitely, as a protector of Earth should be prepared for any situation? ESPECIALLY after Nolan. I think it’s very fair that he’s preparing mechanisms and testing the waters with Mark because let’s be real, Mark is incredibly strong and capable and as we have seen from the alternate realities he usually team’s up with his dad.
