Rod knock options

Had a rod knock in my n54, crank is mildly scored but no signs of heat or damage to the rod (havent took it out yet so havent checked round).

Question is can i get away with getting the crankshaft grinded replace main and big end bearings and put it back together or do i have to pull the rod from the top also ?
