2017 Chevy Cruze - Is it Worth Repairing

A while ago, my cruze was running rough and finally threw a code a coil pack issue. Had the coil pack and spark plugs replaced.

I was still getting a rough idle and on a long road trip the same code happened and the engine was losing power. I made it home and put it the shop. They said they couldn’t find an issue but cleaned a bunch of stuff.

I recently moved to a new state and the trip seemed to make the rough idle worse. I went to a shop today and they did a diagnostic. The mechanic said my compression was low. The think I have a cracked piston… $4,500 is the high end estimate to repair it.

My concern is that it might not fix the issue… Or another issue might arise after spending all that money.

If there is a mechanic on here with experience with the Cruze… Do you think this repair is worth it?
