Greetings. Recently I attempted to make use of the mic in Left 4 Dead 2 like I used to do, however, for some reason it is not working… I have tried using 3rd party headset or mic but is useless, mic just won’t work.

Same happens with other games that I have tested.

What happened? Why does the mic stops working out of nowhere? It was working fine just 2 weeks ago, I haven’t done anything to my deck and I haven’t touched any settings neither. The only “change” is updating the Steam version to 3.5 I believe (?)

Anyone else has this issue?
