Hi folks, I’ve got 4 old 2TB Seagate enterprise drives used on my QNAP NAS. Even from new the QNAP NAS has never been able to read the SMART values right and I figured it was because the NAS is old and doesn’t know how to read Seagate values. Additionally it was the same across all the drives.
I recently used Seatools to diagnose my drives and I can’t figure out the ‘Raw’ values because they are astonishingly high. Basically across almost all rows, my normalised value is at the Worst value, but SeaTools reports OK. Raw values for example of Uncorrectable Sector Count is 72057594021216256. Which… is more than the number of sectors I have. How do I interpret these raw values?
