The way my house was built, 2-story on a concrete slab, makes running Ethernet from upstairs to downstairs prohibitively challenging for me.

All that’s downstairs is the other half of my WiFi mesh and Al the entertainment devices.

Is there a way to test my in wall coax to see if it’s already good to go? I’ve read that changing out splitters might be needed but I’m not sure where they all are in my home. I know there are only 3 coax drops in my home. I use fiber internet and cut the cord over a decade ago so in wall coax is not being used.

I have a Klein Scout Pro 3 but I think it’s more about just finding coax end points.

Perfect. I think I know exactly where to look. Wasn’t sure if there was a splitter commonly put behind each wall port or what. Thank you!
