Hey guys,
I’m a little bit worried for my deck, i’m having an error since this morning.
Everytime i’m booting steam OS i’m having the following problem : It’s starting on a menu because of an error (image 1)
If i’m running option 1 : SteamOS, with linux linux-neptune-61 (fallback initramfs)
I’m having image 2 :
… You need to load kernel first
If i’m running option 5 : SteamOS
i’m having the very strange image 3:
error: can’t find command ‘load video’
error: no suitable video mode found.
Booting in blind mode
and then a huge console log popup for 0.5 secs looking like 4
And finally, i’m on steam OS, but having the same console log eveytime i switch from desktop to bigpicture. (image 5)
So far, i couldn’t find anyone having my trouble on internet, except some guys giving a work through on linux. https://knowledge.ni.com/KnowledgeArticleDetails?id=kA03q000000wwRVCAY&l=en-US but i’ve searched, i couldn’t find such options in the boot menu of steam deck.
Some context :
I installed Refind_Gui since last week.
With a dual boot Steam OS / Windows 11.
Some troubles, but nothing serious so far (once i had to “boot from file” because partitions diseapeared)
the problem appeared when à started a windows 10 To Go, on my SSD, because some programms could not run on 11.
Windows 11 is running flawlessly so far
Can you guys help me ?
How can i check that?
