I (who am not DTS) know these cars, have written about these cars, restore these cars, touch these cars (and I think I might have touched at least one of the cars used as pictorial reference). This is mostly accurate regarding the cars’ details, but I still dispute the reason for moving the oil tank location back to its original position in 1973- I believe it was a cost-cutting measure and had little or nothing to do with people filling the oil tank with fuel (mainly because the cars did that themselves due to American driving habits).

He did not mention the introduction of the S bumper in 1972, without which we wouldn’t have the Carrera RS bumper (a fiberglass S bumper but with an integrated oil cooler location in the center). If he had mentioned it, he would have likely mentioned that the early 1972 S bumpers were fiberglass and transitioned to steel.

He’ll probably mention the duck tail after I pause it (he did).

Carrera RS came with 6s and 7s, then 7s and 8s. The later Carreras are usually seen with 7s and 8s but could be had with 6s and 7s. I always say this, but 6s and 7s makes for a sweeter drive, 7s and 8s makes for a better look.

I stopped watching when he hit 964 because I don’t care.

If you have any questions about the information provided (or not provided) in the video for cars between 1965 and 1973, I’ll try to answer. If you have any questions about 993s, I’m going to answer them with reasonably relevant facts about llamas and/or alpacas.
