You see, the only way I see of getting closer to them is talking about football. But I had stopped following years ago and have forgotten everything. I need something of a cheat sheet of everything about current football since they are the type to get excited and ask many questions. The other day I got completely embarrassed when they asked me who my favourite midfielder was. I of course know all the rules its just the players and teams and clubs and stuff that I need.

Now idk if or whether such a thing is possible, there is so much to be in it, but Reddit has always been helpful whenever I have reached such dead ends.
