I heard that the new OLED decks are supposed to be easier to replace the screen I think? (Or was it that the buttons were easier to access…?) If so, do we have any idea how much easier that’s supposed to be…my only experience with stuff like this is building a pc and taking apart my Macbook 2012, PS3/4 & Nintendo DS for minor stuff (thermal paste, part replacements, cleaning).

I ask just because I’m a little nervous about the longevity of the LE OLED panels/nervous anticipation of mine arriving with a dead pixel in an annoying spot hah. Hoping that the majority are fine and there’s just a loud presence of faulty screens online. IDK if I’d rather go through the trouble of RMA for a deck that’s now sold out, or learn to replace it myself when more information comes out on how to do that…plus I’m not sure if the Samsung and BOE screens are wired differently. Also, if I had to RMA, I likely wouldn’t be able to very quickly before my holiday break in December.

Maybe this is too soon to tell for now, probably have nothing to worry about, but would be good to know regardless
