Hello! This question isn’t too important but my new ocd obsession trying to paint a clear picture!

So I never text and was surprised when I tried it worked! I wasn’t topped up at all so wasn’t sure how it went through, turns out it was RCS, so what I’ve gathered is any android, regardless of messaging apps, such as samsungs, Google, any others I don’t know about will still get my messages so it won’t cost me monthly top ups to text? I also gather it still doesn’t work with iPhone though?

I guess the main question is, as long as it’s on for the receiver, will they still get the message even when using a different messaging app? (Other then iphone) so if OPPO for example has their own messaging app with RCS, will they still receive my RCS message from Samsung
