By far this feature in Samsung new TV’s doesn’t work properly, sync issues and drop outs has been happening in my setup for the past year and a half.
Just to make things clear, I tested this feature in 2 different Samsung TV’s, the S95B and S95C, with both TV’s paired to Q990B (tried it with 2 units due to rear speakers drop out which I had it being replaced) and Q990C respectively, while it gives a little bit more sound that is really unnoticeable at high volume, it always cuts out specially when playing ATMOS formats, don’t fall for it, it is useless, impractical and utterly bad experience.
In PS5 using Game mode, sync issues happens from the rear speakers, you will have to use smartthings app to to adjust the audio delay, which will create other sync issues when switching to fmm.
While Samsung high-end soudbars are great and supports most audio format, I would advise to stay away from Q-symphony.
