So I am running to kind of an unexpected (or expected) issue with my Seiko SUR277P1. I have now bent the springbar on my watch twice. First time was when I was using my arms to climb on top of a windowsill and the watch was on my wrist - I guess there was too much pressure on the pin and it bent and the bracelet come off from one side. I got the springbar replaced, but last weekend yet again one of the springbars bent and the bracelet came off (not sure how exactly). I was wondering whether there are stronger springbars available anywhere, and which springbars usually fit in all watches (or my watch in specific if you happen to know). I know divers sometimes use 2,5mm bars but no clue whether that would work in mine. Or are there spring bars made out of stronger materials? The folded end links don’t support the spring bars at all so they are under quite a lot of stress at points.

Ps. No, the watch is not clamped on my wrist so hard that it cuts off blood flow - and it isn’t very loose either, one finger fits under the bracelet.
