Hey y’all. I’m currently on a multi-week brainstorming/research binge putting together some info/a plan for developing a clothing brand. The brand would be targeting a specific niche that I’m very familiar with.

I’m just looking to chat with someone who has gone down this road before to hear any success/failure stories they have.

I’m hoping to work with an offshore supplier for my designs and go the typical social media promotion route to build the brand.

I have built two successful companies and currently operate one of them. One in the food space, and one importing and reselling goods. So I have a good idea of how to build/run/market a business, dealing with offshore suppliers, and a decent amount of back end e-commerce experience.

But I have no experience in clothing manufacturing. Looking for someone to give me some first hand reasons why they succeeded or failed at a similar endeavour.
