When trying to update to windows 11 I am encountering an issue where it gets stuck at 46% then has the error code 0xc00000f0 while its getting updates. I have tried redoing the process several times and it happens everytime. I have tried restarting the windows update service which someone else said worked for them but that did not work for me. Idk why that would’ve worked for them to begin with cause I’m pretty sure that’s the equivalent of just restarting the entire process.

I have no pending windows updates or anything like that so that isn’t the cause. The only driver I have that is not up to date is my GPU which I rolled back. I seriously doubt that is having an impact on this. While there are a lot of topics on this I’m having difficulty skimming through them and finding solutions because a lot of them frankly got non answers, things I’ve already done or no one gave a solid answer to begin with to the OP. I have not tried installing it with a USB/ISO but I’d really like to avoid that route if possible.

I would really like some sort of solution because now it has actually somehow managed to fuck up my existing windows because now when I try to launch a full screen game all I get is a bunch of flickering and tabbing in and out with me doing nothing and the game not responding which did not exist until I simply turned on the TMP setting in bios and started the windows process. I didn’t do /anything else/.

So now not only do I have no progress on that update I have a PC that can’t play fucking games because it just fucked everything up. Any solutions? I’m going to have to reformat at this point either way cause of that.
