Hello,

I want to buy a watch to wear every day, with a budget of around 280€. Currently, I wear a digital Casio (A100WE-1AEF) watch, and I have an old gold Omega watch, which I inherited from my grandfather, for special occasions. For everyday use, I prefer a metal bracelet because I don’t like the feeling of, for instance, a wet plastic bracelet when I wash my hands.

I’ve been eyeing the Casio Lineage LCW-M100TSE-1A (link), which appeals to me for several reasons. It has functions like a stopwatch and alarm that I occasionally use, and it’s made of titanium, making it quite light—a feature I appreciate in watches. (For comparison, I find my Casio AE-1200WHD-1AVEF quite heavy.) This Casio is also an appropriate size for me, as I have an average to small wrist.

However, there are a few drawbacks. It seems a bit expensive for a Casio, costing around 300€ with shipping here in Italy from the Casio Store. I’m concerned that I might regret spending that much on a Casio.

Do you have any other watch recommendations? Do you think there isn’t something comparable for that price in Europe?

I also like the Seiko SUR507(link), which is priced at 240€ here. However, since it’s not made of titanium and doesn’t have a sapphire face (like the Casio), It appears to be a less favorable option overall.

Thanks.
