Is there a way to hide Whatsapp backup files from showing in "recent files" in File Explorer?

Samsung’s file explorer app “My Files” always looks like this for me.

Is there a way I can hide the Whatsapp backup files? I have the “show newly downloaded media in your device’s gallery” option disabled in Whatsapp.

Anything else I can do? Maybe a different file explorer app?
