I’m considering a Framework laptop because I’m insanely fussy about laptops and hardware and it means I can customise this how I please. But something I’m wondering is:

If I set the keyboard backlight to on, does it stay on?

It sounds like a stupid question, but I’m returning a brand new Lenovo ThinkBook because the keyboard backlight turns off after 15 seconds of inactivity and there’s literally no way to change that setting - some ThinkBooks have that setting, others don’t.

Bonus question: Intel or AMD? I may be dual booting with Linux for it.
