I haven’t really messed with mesh networks, I recently moved and my pc now has to use wifi vs being hardwired at the old place. I’m paying for 2gig internet and i’m getting roughly 600mbps via wifi, which I think some of the problem is my pc’s wifi chip.

My question is, if I get a mesh network and wire first node into modem in the living room, then have another node in the bedroom by my pc and hardwire it, would this increase my speeds?

thanks in advance, I’m just trying to find a solution to get what i had at the old place which was around 800-900mbps on a 1gig connection when I was hardwired.
