Hi everyone,

My car has been randomly stalling while I drive and I need help pinpointing the issue. Sometimes the whole drive is ok, sometimes it’s multiple stalls so it varies and the issue occurs whether I drive straight or if I turn. Before this issue all started I replaced the timing belt, serpentine belts, water pump, pulley, and oil pump and performed a valve adjustment. I performed the changes cautiously with OEM parts and paid attention to all the engine markings and things were going well for a few months before this stalling started occuring.

In one case, I was waiting at an intersection and after the light turned green I pressed the throttle, and mid intersection it stalled. I coasted into a parking space sloped in a decline, but it seemed like I lost power even though I think my dash was illumimated. I needed to use my backup hand-held battery jumper to start the car which worked, but when I tried backing out of the spot it died again. I jumped it again and continued with the ride.

Does this sound more like an alternator issue, a battery issue, a loose belt issue, or something else?

Long post so I appreciate y’all reading. Thank you in advance for the advice.
