I’m attempting to hook up my PC with another monitor in another room using an HDMI + USB KVM extender over Ethernet, but I’m wondering if it’s possible to use the ethernet ports (the ones in the walls) already in each room instead of routing a new cable across the floor (neither port is currently in use).

Any advice is appreciated!!
