Hello, I am 24 years old, and have been very competitive within gaming circles and regularly “sweat” my ass off on almost every game I play.

I have an unknown illness that has made my life hell for going on 4 years now.

I’m close to identifying and fixing said illness.

With this in mind, at my age am I still able to pursue a competitive/pro gaming career if I wanted to? I know it’s very little chance I could ever “break into the pro scene” but I want to know if there’s still time left.

Or is 24 considered too old for this particular dream. I still feel like mechanically and mentally I am better and faster then I was at 18. But I know there’s kind of a biological clock where your reflexes start to slow down. Hence the question.

Sorry man, I’m gonna have to disagree. I already do a lot with my time and plan on doing other things once I am “cured” per se. So I only see a focus on gaming as healthy as I already do a lot of other things with my time.
