Very well said. I have a passion for the English language and just language in general. My friend and I have this argument all the time. She says I say pull wrong (I’m Mexican so I say it like pool). I didn’t notice the mistake until she brought it up. But, I did mention that if that’s the case, I should say “nar” instead of “no” like the Australians” Basically what you said but not as well. I just tell her that’s my accent even though I know English better than Spanish. Thanks for sharing. More or less, I was trying to emphasize that there is a twist to the double ll in her name.
