Windows 10 Pro desktop 22H2

For years, after I left the PC go idle the enter the pin screen would appear. Recently, as in the last month, the enter pin screen only appears after a shutdown or after I click on sleep down in the Start area.

Under SIGN-IN OPTIONS/Windows Hello Pin it says 'Your PIN is all set up…".

I’ve googled and have not found any info that helps.
