I replaced this driver side CV Axle over the Summer time on my 2013 Fusion. I was doing an oil change tonight and noticed I had some dirty transmission fluid leaking out of the CV Axle. Does it look like the CV Axle isn’t pushed in all the way or it popped out a little bit? Or does it look right and I just have a bad transmission seal and it’s leaking transmission fluid? I should have tried to push it in to see if it would move or click in. What do you all think? Thank you!

Thanks! It is an automatic. I did some research and apparently left hand transmission seals are a problem on Ford Fusions. The bushing inside the transmission wears out and then makes the seal fail afterwards. Need a speciality tool to remove the bushing and replace it. There’s a Ford TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) out for it and a handful of YouTube videos talking about it. It’s definitely transmission fluid, VERY dirty never changed. I was actually planning to drain and refill it until I saw this. It’s coming directly out of the axle. I wiped it clean and moved the axle with my hand and it would just squirt right out. lol ugh
