I have an M.2 960 I was using as an external drive that I now want to use as my windows and main storage drive on my new PC. I can’t get the BIOS to recognize it in either slot on the motherboard. It also won’t recognize an SSD drive I tried. I’m assuming they’re formatted incorrectly or there is partitioning I need to do? How should I be setting them up on my Mac so that my PC will recognize them?

It would be surprising that both SATA slots and both M.2 slots are not working. I have a dock that will allow me to connect the M.2 to the mac as an external drive. I was thinking of installing windows to that and then seeing if the pc recognizes it then.
