So a few days ago I noticed that my xbox app wasn’t displaying any games that I had downloaded via game pass and also wouldn’t let me download any new ones. I figured it may be a network issue on Microsoft’s end so I ignored it.

Tried it again today, still not working. I went on my xbox and tried to download something there, same thing. Nothing will download and it won’t even let me see my previous purchases.

Just for the hell of it I decided to try connecting to my phone hotspot (FYI both my cell and home internet uses Verizon) and it worked fine off of there both in the PC app and on the xbox.

My verizon router has the main network, a guest network, and an IoT network. I tried it on all 3 and on the main and guest network it still failed, but on the IoT network everything worked perfectly fine.

Any ideas what could be causing this?

TL;DR xbox and xbox app won’t work on anything except IoT network or phone hotspot.

UPnP is on and I see that it’s working. When the xbox is on the port 3074 shows up under the port forwarding rules.

I don’t see any restrictions besides that it’s set to “Normal Security”. I tried turning it to “Low Security”, just to test, and it still didn’t work. I also tried temporarily setting an ip for the dmz host to test and that didn’t work either.

IPv6 was also off on my router, so I turned that on to see if that would affect anything, but it didn’t.
