Just thinking ahead. The rest of this season will be a wash. Call me a homer or whatever, I’ve been around long enough to see the writing on the wall. But there is SO MUCH to look forward to next season.

Let the rookies get experience and hope the vets don’t get injured. Get some good draft picks and an easier schedule next season. With a couple high draft picks and a healthy veteran core, and if Zac can actually get everyone in training camp, starters included, to actually participate in preseason games we can come out guns blazing in 2024.

This season maybe a wash but there is a ton of potential for 2024. Sometimes you need to see the forest through the trees.

Hopefully we get a new oline coach and offensive coordinator, those would be icing on the cake 😁

    If we lose out we can get as high as the 5th pick in my estimation if a few things fall our way. (Carolina, New England & Arizona out of reach and probably Chicago too)

    Just yesterday we went from 17th to around 12th (I think - not entirely sure but we moved up BIGTIME)

    Lots of teams sitting at 4 / 5 wins. If they can just get 2 wins more while we lose out suddenly we go from the early teens to 5-8.

    There are probably 7-10 blue chip players in this draft. If we lose out we should be able to get one. And the blue chip QBs arent on our radar so that helps our specific needs fall. (WR, OT or TE (Bowers)
