Bored and looking up team stats.
The Phx Suns turnover differential is +2.0. Meaning the other opp team averages two more turnovers than the Suns. Places us currently in 4th place, respectively. Let me repeat that. The Phoenix Suns, who at the beginning of the season looked like the entire team ate popcorn during every timeout, is currently ranked 4th place in team differential. If we’re looking at just each teams turnovers, not the differential, Suns are still placed pretty horribly. What the differential shows is how well our team defense is and how much better our turnovers have been during our win streak.
Some more fun facts: We’re top ten in FG%, 3pt%, free throw% in both team stats AND team differential. Also, KBD is ranked 6th in Assist to turnover ratio playing 20 mins a night.

Kray was defending Vogel last night, saying that Vogels defensive system is hard to learn especially with 13 new players, it’s going to take a bit of time until it looks smooth and effective.
I can buy that, training camp felt too short for a new roster and coaching staff. I think we are starting to see guys feel more certain about their rotations and can play with more force and higher motor when you don’t have to think so much. (I’m looking at you Goodwin)
