Agree with this 100%. While yesterday was the final nail in the coffin for me supporting McDermott, and think it’s time to move on, there really isn’t a slam dunk HC candidate (ex. Jon Gruden in 2002). Maybe Harbaugh, but it’s not clear if he’d be willing to leave college.
Regardless of who is their HC in 24, the Bills should be in the mix; how confident are we as fans in an coordinator who has never been a HC leading this team to the Super Bowl next year? I think because of this reason, and the fact that Pegula seems to value loyalty/continuity, there’s a very good chance that McD is the HC in 24.
