Always get a PPI on any used car. I see posts every day in this subreddit, “Should I by X Y Porsche with Z miles? Is this a good buy?” We don’t know. we don’t know the history of the car and we are not able to mechanically inspect the vehicle. Only a mechanic can tell you what needs to be spent.
Buy a pre purchase inspection every time and use it as a negotiation tool. The exception is CPO. CPO = Warranty + Inspection.
Wow my dealership wouldn’t do this for me. They said they would have to buy the car from me and then sell me the car to CPO it. They did sell me a Porsche extended warranty for 5 years on top of the factory warranty though. I thought it was worth the peace of mind.
