First off GO BILLS! What a wild ride this season has been from the highest of the highest in the week 4 Miami game to what was probably the most heartbreaking defeat here in week 12 against the Philadelphia Eagles. Throughout this whole season all I have been seeing as a fellow brother in Bill Mafia time and time again we need to fire Sean McDermott. My brethren (and sisteren) I invite y’all to take a good half hour to take a good half hour, plug in your AirPods or headphones, and listen to one of the cooler more insightful podcasts from The Athletic’s Joe Buscaglia. If you guys also want, check out Joe Marino’s Locked On Bills podcast as well, he lays a few great arguments why Sean McD might not be up to snuff. But look, as well intentioned those arguments might be, one: the league doesn’t have anyone I see right now that can and should take the helm of a powerhouse like the Bills franchise (Carolina, Steelers, and Raiders all fired a member of their coaching staff and let’s not hire garbage from poverty franchises) and two: as bad as McD is now, THINK OF WHAT THE ORGANIZATION WAS PRIOR TO 2017. Who Pegula had steering the ship (more like a rowboat honestly). Jesu Cristo we didn’t have a chance to even sniff a playoff run. McD got us there three times. But we can talk about that til we’re blue in the face, I want to give y’all some optimism I’ve been stewing on here.
I wanna point out some things we may have overlooked from these past two games as opposed to the prior 10 games:

  • offense schematically has been more cohesive and played with MORE efficiency. I don’t have the numbers (go check the stats) but just look at the result. Joe Brady’s playcalling and overall game plan going into both the Jets and Eagles game led to first half DOMINATION by our Bills with the football. The Jets game was just a glimpse, the Eagles game was the proof in the pudding. We out possessed the ball in the first half 2x over our opponents.

  • our run game has produced more consistent results over the last two games (with exception of the weird final drive during the Broncos game). All our RBs are WEAPONS in the Brady offense. Cooks pass catching abilities, Murray’s physicality, and Ty fkin Johnson consistently good for 5+ yards in a down.

  • Pass block has time and time again shown up for Josh, and it has only gotten better with the Brady offense utilizing less than talented WRs (looking at you Gabe, Trent S) in ways to make lanes for guys that get separation to move down field.

  • we have Josh fkin Allen. He’s awake guys. 80 rushing yards. Two (or was it three?) rushing TDs.

We lost against the 1 seed in the NFC… the NFC champs 2022… and 2022 Superbowl hopefuls with a 9-1 (now 10-1) record. We lost bc of yes, miscommunication issues, fkin penalties, non-penalties (that non call on the horse collar spoke volumes), and because the EAGLES are dawgs…! I live in Philly area so I can respect our opponents for who they are and how they find ways to win. But let’s (as the kids say) be for fkin real. We had all the adversity we had (injuries, morale blows, weather elements) and PINNED the birds against a wall by their necks for three quarters. They had to pull a rabbit out the hat for the win. McD is a problem yes but at the end of the day our team has to meet the moment and not be in situations that require McD to potentially make a shitty call, and I have every optimism that they can. (And please give the man a little credit, our defense is running on piss, fumes, the essence of Ed Oliver, and duct tape, AND STILL MAKING PLAYS. McD as the defense playcaller has kept us in the fight more often this season than not)

To me, that means: KC, count your days. We beat them in Arrowhead before (and the Eagles barely eked out a win there) Dallas, find Dak another trash can to get flipped into. Chargers, go find a cool drink for Herbert. Patriots gonna look like the Benedict Arnolds when we’re done with them And we already squished the FISH but let’s give Tua Turndaballova’s team one more bruising before playoffs.

5-0 the final stretch, 11-6 our final record. We’re in the Wild Card. Go BILLS by a BILLION 🐃

That decision was ridiculous. “Icing the kicker”? Cmon dude, we have seen what happens when a kick team is rushed on the field. “Wide right” is how it goes. He should’ve never used that time out to begin with
