He ranked highly in both which makes it way more likely he was actually an impactful defender.
Boogie was known to do some dumb shit on the court, but essentially the positive stuff he did on the court outweighed it. STOP% is just considering steals/offensive fouls drawn/blocks, but its important to note he was also a really good defensive rebounder for a center which also gave him some value on that end.
