In most of the categories, most of the movies are “made to win awards” movies. The popular films, outside Barbie and Oppenheimer, are relegated to two categories: animation and cinematic achievement.

I couldn’t see Anatomy Of A Fall cuz I missed its narrow release window, I was too busy. I pre ordered the Blu Ray though.

The Zone Of Interest isn’t out in America yet but imma be sure to be there opening weekend, that looks like it’ll be the most important movie of the decade.

I saw Barbie, it was good.

Haven’t seen American Fiction yet but probably will this week.

      Across The Spiderverse was incredible.

I also saw Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3, John Wick Chapter 4, Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One…I actually saw a bunch of these 😂

The Variety/ET pre-show was a dumpster fire. And Jo Koy is bombing the hosting job too.

I don’t know why they thought Jo Koy would be a good host. His crowd work is shit and his best jokes are about wacky things his mom did. That doesn’t translate to hosting an awards show.

As a Succession fan it was great to see the cast again, but they barely had time to say much in the pre show.

I noticed some glitches during the pre show, and I noticed that the humor during the main show was a bit flat too. Are the Golden Globes usually like that?
