I very well could simply be imagining this, but for the last couple years now, I feel like every game I watch, teams have receivers just getting absolutely wide open multiple times a game. Not a defender in sight.

I feel like Dallas never really has this happen to them. Sure, Lamb or Cooks might be open but there’s a defender a step behind them. They never really get just absolutely wide open with nobody around.

Why? Is this simply coaching? It felt like it was this way with. It’s Garrett and now McCarthy.

Are the receivers just not great at gaining separation? It’s something my uncle and some other cowboys fans I know have talked about before. Surely we can’t ALL be imagining this.
