A senior Secret Service official briefed on the planning for the Wisconsin rally said the agency was “never configured to provide such an elevated level of protection for an increasing number of protected.” The official was granted anonymity because they were not authorized to speak to the media.

“Our personnel and equipment are being pushed to their limits to sustain the current operational tempo,” the official said. “This proposed Wisconsin event also took place during the United Nations General Assembly, where the Secret Service is responsible for the safety and security of over 140 world leaders amid a challenged global threat level.”

Seems like a reasonable justification based on check notes literally everything happening right now.

Weird how OP’s article misses out on this key piece of information. Might be a bit of bias there 🤔.

Now is probably the best time to try counterfeiting US bills.

Nothing weird about it. This is propaganda. You don’t accidentally accuse the current president of enabling political violence against their rival who has already had two (maybe three if the talk of Iran’s plans are true) attempts on their life. OP is calling this evidence of Biden’s danger to democracy in other comments in this post.

It’s not, hence why they didn’t do it. The Secret Service does need to protect trump for the rest of his life, unfortunately, since he was a US president, and he was never held accountable for his ten thousand crimes as president.

From would be assassins. Like the first guy, who donated to act blue. Or the second who donated to the Democrats and had a Harris bumper sticker.

Doesn’t sound like Republicans to me

The guy hiding in the bushes with a rifle waiting for Trump wasn’t an assassination attempt?

Does it bother you to speak in such opposition to what’s plainly true?

no it wasn’t and if all it takes is a plot to be considered an attempt then Trump tried to assassinate basically the entirety of Congress so idk bro

Both donated to act blue. A group I have never heard of but it’s interesting they both donated to it.

That doesn’t make him a republican. Several of my friends are Democrats but registered Republicans. It’s how you vote in the primaries.

Unless he is running for office you either are registered Republican or are running as a Republican there’s really no other metric to define someone by their political party

Biden appointed a candidate for President, when that process is supposed to happen via voting.

Do you know the word is for a situation where the people are voting on things? It starts with a D

The political parties have absolutely nothing to do with democracy. They are literally fundraising organizations with 0 accountability, and the only reason they get special attention like primaries is because their candidates tend to win elections and make policy.

There is absolutely no reason for them to hold ‘elections’ internally aside from the theater of it… They could 100% legitimately throw a dart at a dartboard or read tea leaves to pick their candidate if they want. Crying about how the ‘other side’ didn’t do it how your side did is silly and disingenuous at best, and more likely just talking points to regurgitate.

based on his performance at the debate, we can clearly say Biden isn’t a threat to anyone. It is the DNC and others that are the threat. Biden doesn’t even know where he is most days.

      More like the DNC is.

Running a candidate who hasn’t received any primary votes, and they call us a threat to democracy. They literally skipped the pesky voting phase.

The DNC and RNC are organizations, there’s no reason outside of organizational preference for them to hold votes… They could flip a coin for all ‘voters rights’ are concerned. They are literally just fundraising organizations that pick someone to throw money behind.

Party affiliation, for all intents and purposes, shouldn’t even be listed on the ballots and the only reason they are is because the two parties realize splitting the country is a better way to raise funds than any amount of policy or good intentions.
