My goodness. this one ended in the most unserious fashion I’ve ever seen it was like they were just screwing around out there. SLC led by 61, SIXTY ONE! I’ll jump into the details though.
-G League Ignite tried. No Buzelis but still had Holland. They occasionally had momentum. That’s about it.
-Sensabaugh: 25 tonight and just continues his offensive dominance in the G League, he is a certified bucket. Turned it over 6 times but made up for it with good passes and even had flashes of ok defense tonight. He’s ready on offense. Also had 5 assists and 5 boards
-Hendricks: His game had to be encouraging, just a defensive monster and as the game went on he made less and less mistakes and found a groove on offense, 19 points, 3 blocks, 3 steals, didn’t have the best shooting night and turned it over 3 times as well and he had future projected top 3 pick Ron Holland as his matchup and just dominated. Believe in this man.
-Everyone else looked great, Christopher, Kinsey and Potter all look polished despite the flaws, shout-out to Michael Devoe scoring 21 and Isaiah Miller having some vicious energy out there. Seriously Miller is so much fun.
They’re back at it tomorrow but I probably won’t do a full cover of it… and ideally the rookies are brought back up to the Jazz sooner than later lol, unreal game though
Great analysis, yeah for Hendricks the offensive mistakes stand out like a sore thumb, when it comes to guarding the perimeter I really think him and Ochai in the same lineup will do you wonders, realistically he’s guarding 2-4 with some 5’s and an occasional 1 when he’s NBA ready, still loads of potential, and too early to tell but Utah struck Gold with Brice especially if his passing game stays this way.
