I have too many systems to connect everything to the TV, and I could never be bothered to reconnect everything, so it was all just sitting there gathering dust. I would only use the Steam Deck.

Also, I have been tempted to get some kind of mini arcade machine like the MVSX, but can’t afford it, or justify it because of all the stuff I own already.

So I had the idea to combine it all in a separate retro game area using all the old relatively unused junk, a crappy old monitor + my Steam Deck for arcade games, all connected together, all the time. And it’s pretty cool. It’s quite portable and tidy.

I’ll be getting better (but cheap) speakers soon too. Thinking Creative Pebbles Plus.

Anyway, just wanted to show off my very cheap new arcade retro setup. Has anyone done something similar?

Exactly. The main reason I started this is cos the dreamcast wasn’t getting enough attention.
