I will never understand the internet’s hive mind hate boner for this game. People bitch about CoD, Fortnight, and having nothing new to play, but then something new comes out and it’s immediately a failure since it didn’t instantly pass CoD’s player count.

The damn thing has been out all of like 36 hours. It’s like everyone in the gaming community has the attention and patience of a Netflix exec now.

Anybody complaining about Zoom is only doing so because they have been forced to use Teams instead.

The Finals is a massively underappreciated game and I will die on that hill. The game feels good, the sandbox is interesting, the modes are fun, and it has shit tons of style. But it’s a new IP in a world ruled by CoD, so here we are.

Sorting your trash is the human equivalent of planting a tree, and it’s especially valuable if you have/teach children. It’s a small activity that helps to build better habits and mindsets.

It won’t change the world today, but it will build a foundation for changing the world tomorrow.

This was my experience at a US university as well.

I wish we were when halfway smart enough for ranked choice voting. Unfortunately, not only are most voters too dumb to get it, but many jurisdictions are actually banning in right now.

I used to hang out with friends in college, and I’d do homework in the same room while they’d play videogames (or vice-versa). Throwing a streamer on while I’m working gives the same vibe.

Too much of Silksong’s difficulty is just numbers. Shitty peon enemies hit for two health because fuck you. Touching a boss while it’s stunned hits for two health because fuck you.

And then there’s the whole shard system, which straight-up doesn’t need to exist since it just makes you never engage with tools. Until you use them to nuke a boss in its final phase, of course, because the alternative is playing RNG roulette against the boss’s 3 adds (that each hit for two damage, naturally).

It’s a great game, but it definitely isn’t a perfect game.

They need to remove shards, tweak (lower) the power of tools, and adjust outgoing damage (ideally through armor-like upgrades you earn).
Oh, and crests were not the right call. We all just use the Reaper (unless we’re further exploiting tools with that other crest).

I know we’re hating on Xbox in this thread, but I have an XSX and I absolutely love it. I hardly buy any games outright thanks to Game Pass.

But certified mail also costs money so now you’re back to the same concept as the 3% fee
