My understanding is the predictions of alpha fold are always verified with the slower, more accurate process - if the predictions from alpha fold showed something promising.

Its main use was to help identify directions to further investigate. Not to blindly take the protein structure it predicted.

So there might be initial bias in terms of the how possibilities are narrowed, but you can certainly use it to do real science.

You should make sure to read up on tenant law for your area. If it’s Riverside CA then the landlord needs to give you notice when entering your room. There are statewide tenant laws that supersede the leases, but you need to make sure.

Second, if it’s not in your lease then they can pound sand. You really should have a copy of your lease. Again, depends on tenant law, but they might be required to provide a copy.

Sorry this is happening to you. Idk why everyone is fixated on the reasons to keep the window open or closed. If you go to court, only give reasons for the windows being open if the judge asks. Your main pints should be the landlord violating tenant laws by entering your room (if that applies for your area) and threatening to kick you out for something not in the lease.

Not a lawyer, none is legal advice. Going to a student law clinic for free tenant advice was a good suggestion, but read up on the tenant law for your area, they’re usually not too difficult to read.

Genuinely asking, why are there a lot of “China good US bad” posts on lemmy? Like is it Chinese citizens posting this, pro-communist westerners? Bots?

I ask because when I see pro-capitalist posts elsewhere I assume they are bots or Americans that watch too much Fox News.

They are depreciating due to market forces (upgrades), but the data centers and hubs of gpus are infrastructure in a similar way that fiber and rails were in the other bubbles. I think the comparison stands. They all age to some extent, but gpus depreciate in value faster because nvidia is always marketing the next generation, not because they physically degrade that fast.

I say this as someone genially against the rapid construction of new data centers btw.
