No. They don’t feel that. They KNOW that THEY can’t manage them. Just like if the manager does not speak German they wouldn’t hire someone that only speaks that language
I don’t see it that way. To me it seems like existing managers do not know how to manage remote teams, and you can’t tell them “you should fire all the managers and hire new ones that do” because they will never fire themselves.
The cat:“I’m hungry” The owner: “I know” The owner: proceeds to ignore the cat and keeps on that they were doing
You bastard
They would hear the explosion but not think “wow. There was a grenade attached to the bike”
Anyway. I forgot bikes have breaks, so the lock would not pass that and the grenade would not self arm
Oh. Right. The breaks. I forgot. Nvm
I don’t know the range of a grenade, but I imagine when one steals a bike, they run away. Maybe they can be out of range in 5 seconds
If the lock passes inside the frame, then the thieve would just keep riding and leave behind a ticking granade. Possibly without even knowing
What keyboard layout do you have? Both physically and virtually

31·9 days agoA few years back someone made virus that connected to an llm server and kept finding ways to infect computers in the simulated network. I think it was kind of successful. Not viable for a virus though, but an interesting idea non the less
Yeah. They are going soft con you

19·17 days agoMan. Props to the team. At least from my perspective (I’m not into distro hoping anymore) they came out of nowhere and people absolutely loved them. I should give them a test on a VM, specially since I’ve been recommending against them because I didn’t think they are a good fit for llinux newcomers
Pirated ganes may contain linux viruses. No need for wine
That is an old myth. There are less viruses for Linux because there are less users. But if you do things like install priated games, you have the same risk as on windows

Linux@lemmy.ml•What are some bare minimum concepts beginner Linux users should understand?
3·19 days agoI’m not sure this is great advice. In principle it is. But you can’t tell a windows user “yes. You know how many of the programs you used to use are not available because they don’t make a Linux version? Well a lot of the ones that do you shouldn’t use even though the distro supports it for reasons you don’t understand”
That is better advice for an intermediate used learning about the dangers (or lack there of) sideloading.
In general o disagree with your stance on a basically semantic reasons: the definition of a trusted source. If I trust a software manufacturer and they tell me to use their flatpak, it’s fine because they are trusted, regardless of the format. What I do not like are things like the AUR
Why? Is it something against flight itself? Or against airlines and airports?
sure to use some powder or some shit
For the love of god, if your skin is irritated, do not use shit to try and fix it.

This reminds me of those “my tinder date got stuck in a window, I decided to have a little fun before helping her” porn videos

1·22 days agoI’ve never heard of that, but I’ve kind of used it for children. If it’s winter and you hear you kid sneeze, do not worry. If they sneeze again, they are probably barefoot some something, go check on them. 3 times they are either already sick, or allergies

Maybe. It was just funny timing.
