How would this happen?

Clippers play Pelicans. If the Clippers win, both teams end up 2-2.

Houston plays Denver. If Houston wins, Denver would be 2-2 and Rockets at this point would be 2-1

After that, Houston plays Dallas. If Dallas wins, they’ll be 2-2. With the loss, the Rockets would be 2-2.

Then, the winner would be determined by point differential.

    I believe the clippers are almost mathematically eliminated even if 2-2. Unless they absolutely destroy the Pelicans and Houston beats Denver by a good margin and then Houston gets blown out by Dallas by less than the clippers blow out the pelicans.
