For more than 15 years I only drive manuals and all of cars manual say that mtf drainage and change is not needed before clutch replacement.
But I usually run around 130k miles before the clutch replacement and that seems too much distance without mtf change.
This is an owner’s manual question. Even a mechanic would consult the factory service manual that would say the same thing.
It depends on your car. Which you did not provide.
