It’s tackle football. And every year, they ban another form of tackling. They don’t care about safety, but they Do care if their customers care about safety. So who are NFL customers anymore anyway? Maybe their customers don’t care much for violence and would rather see a touch-football competition League? Because that’s where it’s heading. I don’t think football consumers (note I didn’t say fans) have much stomach for a violent game anymore. So shall we get it over with and ban contact? They wouldn’t have to wear all those silly pads anymore…
