The mods felt that it’s worth reminding everyone of this rule because last game against the Browns, many people were banned after breaking this rule - both Steelers fans going to their sub and Browns fans coming here.
We have a reciprocal agreement with all other NFL subs on this. We send usernames to them and they alert us if people are being jagoffs. There will not be a warning; there’s zero tolerance on this.
Getting banned elsewhere and bragging about it here is not a badge of honor. It’s one of the dumbest reasons to get banned.
This is not a new rule.
10. Trolling Opposing NFL Subreddits
Going into an opposing team’s subreddit and causing problems such as flame-baiting or generating negativity amongst their community WILL get you banned from /r/steelers*.*
When you represent the Steelers and their flair, you are identifying yourself as a member of the large and expansive Steeler community. Trolling opposing subreddits slanders your name and gives a bad reputation to the rest of the Steelers community who do not deserve to be labeled as such.
