I am looking for my next game, but can’t find the one that scratches the itch. Some games are designed for you to die; not my end-goal in gaming. Like Rimworld, 7 days to die and project zomboid. I get it, but not my cup of tea.
I have tried; Rimworld - characters are a bit mentally unstable 7 Days to Die - don’t like the blood moon and feels lonely. Otherwise enjoyable. Project Zomboid - building is tidieus and feels very lonely. Kenshi - Loved it. It is a bit buggy though. Valheim - great building. Feels lonely. Terraria - don’t like the mobs. Too strange for my liking. Minecraft - Enjoyable and somewhat boring(?). Enemies are too dull. Scrap Mechanic - Somehow I feel nausea of the movement in game. Never experienced that. And also feels lonely.
A online coop could be nice. And something that I could play with my kids would be nice. That would be not too violent in graphic, but more nice to have.
I have stumbled on Dayz and Rust… but both seem to be heavy on PvP. For PvP I need to have safezones where I can do my share. I don’t want to be on a constant adrenaline high. I would die too young. And I prefer more a kind of coop like The Division (1 & 2); open world and explore with a group (NPC or PvE) include building and crafting there. I need to be able to jump in and out even on some missions. Time is scarce.
Project zomboid is pretty good
Yeah. But this is one of the games I have tried and feels damn lonely.
