I couldn’t believe at times when Schröder was struggling - I was hoping that Darko would put Malachi in to help give the team a spark and even some stability. How does this factor, which most of us (other than his loyal stans - s/o to you guys btw, seriously) couldn’t have possibly predicted, help out this team moving forward?

Malachi showed some flashes but also did some dumb things. Turnovers, missing point blank layups. Overall better than last year but nothing elite

Elite is not in the cards. If Malachi can hit open 3s, play decent defense, and push the pace that’s all we can ask.

in recent games it seems like he has been taken care of the ball and making the right passes one of the best on this team. Through their leaving him very open he’s gotta continue to attack the paint fast and make those layups. Their not all exactly point blanks but i did see one unfortunate miss in the Celtics game.

I’m treating Malachi like a top 5 pick is his rookie year. He will make mistakes, will be unstable but I will have expectations (unlike Dick, where I just don’t care for the whole year).
