My story is pretty simple - born in the early ‘80s and watched Ickey Woods and the entire team shuffle into my heart. It’s not always been easy or fun to be a Bengals fan, but there will be a time (SOON) where this team hoists the Lombardi Trophy and all of the pain will have been worth it. Stay the course and keep the faith y’all. 🧡🖤 (please keep the negativity to yourself in this thread)

This may be a dumb but honestly I wanted the root for my own team. I live in a house full of Steeler fans. And people outside this family are Brown’s fans. I always watched football anyways and to make everybody happy I would always say I hope the Steelers and Browns would win. Of course when they played each other I was forced to pick a winner. I usually didn’t because I was a kid and I always say I hope it ends in the tie lol. Anyways must have been a year where the Steelers and Browns were both had a bye week or maybe I missed their respective games I don’t know but I watched the Bengals one day. The quarterback was Jeff Blake if you can remember him. I don’t remember the opponent but I do remember that the Bengals did win that game and this is probably going to be another dumb thing to say but I honestly became a fan of Jeff Blake and I got to watch a majority of his career while he played for the Bengals. As a kid I was disappointed to see that he was not with the team but I still remained a fan because like I said I found my own team and I was going to stay a fan of them. So seasons where we made it to the playoffs and lost, the seasons where we went 500 or game above. And of course the countless losing seasons. I still remain a fan despite the fact that my family, Amber’s outside his family and some friends would constantly try to get me to root for Pittsburgh Steelers or the Cleveland Browns.
