Is this what hand de-ranked accounts look like? I don’t really understand why not much action is taking to protect the new player experience, honestly, at all.
Recently hand leveled a smurf only to find out that a miniscule amount of the 100s of people I played with in normals are ACTUAL new players, with most games infested with bots and sometimes smurfs on top, to the point that it doesn’t make sense to jump to a player game at all, and instead grind quick AI ones to save your headache.
Surely there’s more profit in absorbing a larger share of the market by getting new players or old ones back, than allowing the more unscrupulous ones (that probably don’t generate much revenue if they get ban after ban anyway) to ruin the experience in so many ways.
HWID bans are never coming and that’s a good thing, because with how trivial it is to circumvent them no effort to implement them is ever worth it.
