I have what I thought was a setup that would suit me for a while in a pair of single drivers in large cabinets. I’m well aware of the limitations but the tradeoffs have been worth it to me this far. Problem is that most of what I’m listening to these days is electronica in some form (trance, EDM etc). Im not unhappy with the sound, but asking a pair of single drivers to handle all that detail is a tall order. Any advice on what I stand to gain by going to full range towers? Those that listen to a lot of electronic music - what are you running and how do you like it?
Running Li Song origin s-10s on Schiit gear. 2 Rel subs and a Fathom. Well treated room.
Air Motion Tweeters are excellent! I only have Kanto TUKs currently, they are not the most expensive speakers, but for my small space they are the perfect active speakers. They have AMT tweeters and the well extended treble is excellent! Female vocals, strings, horns, all cone through with a little extra something. They can move so much air that some people complain that they are too hot, but for me they are perfect, and they might be the ticket for you too!
